INTRODUCTION This file accompanies .STY and .BST files for economics. As of today, the bibliographic styles available are as follows: AER.BST This style reproduces the way the American Economic Review actually looks. It requires the associated style files aertt.sty harvard.sty AERTT.BST This reproduces the incredibly crazy way the AER asks for ``final'' manuscripts to look. It requires the associated style files: aertt.sty ulem.sty harvard.sty CJE This reproduces the references as requested by the Canadian Journal of Economics. It requires the associated style files: harvard.sty cje.sty USAGE All styles permit three forms of citation, which are illustrated below: Citation Form Result \cite{wealth} (Smith 1776) \citename{wealth} Smith \citeyear{wealth} (1776) \citeasnoun{wealth} Smith (1776) CONTRIBUTIONS The files have been assembled via cash contributions from interested economists, since we have yet to run into an economist who is both a good bib hacker, and not so busy as to have time to take on the project. Contributions can be sent to Wilfrid Laurier University (bibTeX Styles for Economics) care of the address listed below (for bug reports), along with your preferred journal or style to work on next. BUG REPORTS Bug reports should be forwarded to: rwigle4@mach1.wlu.ca Randall Wigle Department of Economics Wilfrid Laurier University Waterloo, Ontario N2L 3C5 AVAILABILITY The BST and STY files currently available from the following sites: archive.umich.edu:economics/Bibtex archive.uwaterloo.ca: economics/econbib
