To install the package: o run: latex ugarite.ins, which will generate: cugar*.mf files *.fd files ugarite.sty o run: latex ugarite.dtx o run: makeindex -s gind.ist ugarite o run: latex ugarite.dtx o Print ugarite.dvi for a hardcopy of the package manual o Move the generated files to locations where LaTeX will find them. For example: the cugar*.mf files to .../texmf/fonts/source/public/ugarite the *.fd and .sty files to /texmf/tex/latex/local/ugarite On a teTeX distribution you might also have to add the following line to texmf/fontname/special.map: cugar10.mf public ugarite On a teTeX distribution remember to run texhash after moving the files. o run: latex tryfont for a testpage of the Ugaritic Cuniform font 2000/09/16 Peter Wilson peter.r.wilson@boeing.com
