Abstract -------- The `polynom' package implements macros for manipulating polynomials, for example it can typeset long polynomial divisions. The main test case and application is the polynomial ring in one variable with rational coefficients. For more details read the documentation `polynom.dvi' or visit http://www.atscire.de/products/polynom . Quick Installation Guide ------------------------ 1) You'll need the files `polynom.{dtx,ins}'. Run `polynom.ins' through TeX or LaTeX. 2) If you don't have `polynom.dvi', run `polynom.dtx' through LaTeX. 3) Move the files into directories as follows: `polynom.sty' --> `texmf/tex/latex/polynom' `polynom.dvi' --> `texmf/doc/latex/polynom' 4) Update your filename database. Note that `polynom' requires the `keyval' package included in David Carlisle's `graphics' bundle. You can download it from CTAN: macros/latex/required/graphics You'll have to run `graphics.ins' through TeX.
