Without information about binary mode or ascii mode the transfer damage some
file.
tex is sparked, the unarchiving program !sparkplug is included.
The file fileinfo contain information about the filetypes of the files of 
!sparkplug ( created with fileinfo * { > fileinfo }.
texupdate is unixcompatible .tar.Z -format  (use the !tarZ or !x-scripts) 
or .tar -format
