It can also be adapted to other Adobe type 1 fonts: to replace Times and Helvetica edit the file lffam-ps.tex All these fonts give European users access to numerous native Adobe accented characters (roughly the ISOLatin1 characters). The OzTeX and Textures (non-virtual) drivers on Macintosh have been outfitted to serve these fonts by the K-PS distribution of Jungers and Siebenmann to be found on ftp matups.matups.fr. The harmonious mixing of the K-PS fonts with the complete Cork norm fonts dcxxx is the responsability of CaesarCK.tex, which uses composite accented characters when ready-made ones are unavailable. The fragility of LaTeX resulting from indescriminate use of \edef type expansions causes a number of conflicts with the accent administration package Caesar. These conflicts should disappear together with the fragility in LaTeX version 3. In the interim, fe-latex.dmp contains a number of patches to prevent such conflicts. Users visiting remote parts of LaTeX can expect to find residual problems. If you encounter a problem that does not occur with classic LaTeX using CM fonts, please contact the author promptly.
