Version 3.1.2 of the GNU HP-GL converter "hp2xx" is now available for
anonymous ftp from clio.rz.uni-duesseldorf.de [134.99.128.3]
in the file ./hp2xx/hp2xx-3.1.2.tar.Z

It contains some new features and many fixes, in particular:

  *  improved makefiles for more platforms; easier installation
  *  all file names compliant with DOS restrictions
  *  a new ATARI previewer
  *  various bug fixes related to the recently introduced
     HP-GL command LT (line type)
  *  A few small fixes in character generation
  *  Support of UC (user character) (by A. Treindl)
  *  Minor fixes in arc and circle generation
  *  New internal color coding (faster, but needs more memory)
  *  PostScript: BoundingBox generation; VMstatus report modified
  *  HP-PCL:     CMYK color support for HP Deskjet 550C added
  *  Separate distribution of binaries for
          --  AMIGA  support (hp2xx.amigalib.zoo)
          --  PC/HGC support (hp2xx.hgc.showit.zoo)
